Samsung’s multi-layer screen on the Tab A consists of the PLS LCD panel (the image/pixel layer) and the Gorilla Glass digitizer (the top touch layer). With this model it’s possible to replace just the top glass ‘digitizer’ or touch panel layer. If the picture on your screen isn’t affected (e.g. dark spots or lines), you may only need to replace the glass touch panel. For more info on Samsung screens, please visit our FAQ section below.
